Ok, then you don't need the Hub 2, just plug the Deco into the ONT and use the right settings.

Hi all, would anyone have an idea on why I can't connect to the internet while using Tp-Link Deco X60?? I've tried to connect it straight to the wall socket, I've tried to connect it through Hub 2 in Bridge Mode. Just to add, while I was setting network on Deco X60 I've set it up as pppoe and used my credentials for it to log in.

My hub 2 connects to the internet straight away to compare.
I'd like to know if there's any solution before I return Deco.
Thanks

Which settings did you use? VLAN should be left blank. Use the ones for connecting to an Openreach modem here: https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/broadband-connection-settings/

Hi I've used those settings as there stated when connecting with openreach modem. Hub 2 was in Bridge Mode (pink led lights) connected Deco to 1st port in Hub 2, used those settings and Deco could not establish internet connection

If not and assuming you just meant the settings when connected to an openreach modem, then username and passord are the only other suspects? Are you using the rigt ones?

I first mentioned Openreach modem as the settings are the same for a Full Fibre connection. There is no Full Fibre option and if you try the FTTC 'Fibre' option then this includes setting VLAN, which can screw things up.

Have you tried using the same username (less the @plusdsl.net bit) and password to log into your Plusnet account? This is a good way to check that you have copied it correctly.

Did you get this to work?

I'm trying to connect my X60, but running in to the same issues. I've tried...

username@plusdsl.net, username only and included password.

PPPoE Always On is active and settlings match those of the Hub 2, which connects fine.

Solved!
Prior to switching to Plusnet I was with Sky, which used their own hub, which connected directly to the BT openreach double socket.

There was no need for the openreach modem so in this case I was trying to connect the X60 without the modem. I reconnected the modem and it connected straight away.

I forgot that the Deco X60 doesn't come with a built-in modem...DOH

So.....DSL cable from the wall > DSL modem > Deco X60 > Internet 😁👍
