Cannot connect Solax dongle to router

WiFi dongle on my inverter cannot access the internet, seems the router won't connect to it. Plusnet support say they cannot help so hoping someone here can! Apparently requires port forwarding, how do I do that?

If not, what device do you have?

Why would you need to port foward?

You might need to deactivate the 5Ghz band of your wifi whilst you setup your inverter.

Before following these instructions you need to disconnect your computer from the hub. If it’s connected by Ethernet just remove the plug, if wireless then go to the wireless settings and select forger this network.

You can then follow these instructions. When you’ve finished you can re-select the hub wireless/reconnect the Ethernet.
