Port forwarding a PS4 with Plusnet Hub Two

Hi, I'm experiencing slow gameplay on FIFA 23, and have done for years. I want to try port forwarding my PS4 with Plusnet Hub Two hub to see if that helps. I've searched the internet but am struggling to find any step by step guides on how to do this. I know the PS4 IP address and can get onto the Hub Manager page ok. I'm using the port 1 Ethernet connection and can find the create a new port forwarding rule. From that point on i get very confused on what information to enter, i.e rule name, External ports start and end, Internal ports start and end, and protocol. Any help would be very much appreciated, or any other suggestions on what could improve gameplay. Thanks

Hi @Gringo1 welcome to the forum.

My my research you need these rules, is this the same as you have found?

To add a port forward rule, from the Firewall section of the Hub Two click on "Create a new port forwarding rule"

The name needs to be unique, I would suggest PS4-FIFA23, I have created a few examples of what's require, hope it makes sense?

Use the device name rather than the IP Address.

Add the necessary data into the fields and click on + to create the new rule.

Rule with a range of ports

Click on + to add the rule each time you add more port/s When you've finished click on save.

I've only created a couple of examples.

This is what I'm using for my PS5, should be the same as it's for PSN.
