Hi all does anyone know if the smart hub 2 will work on PlusNet FTTP i know its works on vdsl mode also i know plusnet uses the same model but different colour i just want to save on p&p if i can. Thanks

@mike360 It does - you just have to change the username/password. Details pinned to the top of the 'My Router' board. Unless you are using it already on a PN service, in which case, no change is required.

It will *if* it's either an FTTP model, or on a fairly recent firmware (where there is a toggle in the firmware to switch it between FTTC/P modes).

Originally it came in two flavours, one with all four ports designated as LAN ports and another with the fourth LAN port converted to a WAN port (same as the Plusnet Hub Two).

I think there may be some knocking about that are FTTC configured and still on an older firmware that doesn't have the toggle. If so, that could cause you problems.

ive got the one with wan port is that going be a problem iv already order fttp without a router iv only just seen the messages
