Plusnet router WiFi not working

Hi,
My Plusnet router has gone faulty, it won't power on. I have tried resetting it with a paper clip but this hasn't worked. Can a Plusnet agent on here organise a replacement to be sent out or do I need to call customer support?

If there are no lights/power on the router, it may well be a dodgy power supply. Do you have another one that you can try?

NB: Make sure the voltage/polarity etc are the same before you use another PS.

Hi,
Yes the first thing I did is try a different PSU, it hasn't made any difference, the router appears to have died, there aren't any lights.

When did this happen? It looks to me like you're currently online, possibly using a BT Smarthub?

Hi,
It happened a while ago so I've borrowed my friends smarthub as he doesn't use it but his contract has finished and he has to send it back to BT.

@mick82 I hope you're only paying for the postage charge, the full price for a replacement is a ridiculous £99 I think. You could get a second hand BT Home Hub or Plusnet router for a small fraction of that amount.

Yes I'm just paying £6.99 postage, I wouldn't have paid £99, that's too expensive!!
