I can recommend the BT WholeHome WiFi and disable the WiFi on the PlusNet router. I’ve been doing this for a few years and it’s brilliant. I have 3 WholeHome WiFi units.

We have a hub 2 in the living room and a r200 TP Link extender upstairs.

They are both on separate networks and it's annoying. Is there any solutions that can be on 1 network so that if I walk from downstairs to up, it changes seamlessly...without having to manually change?

Have you tried cloning the Hub Two wireless name on the R200 devices? In most cases this should solve your issue.

The another option is to investigate a mesh system, this would require new hardware.
