Hi, Got a new modem so hopefully be able to connect my mobile to it. Is it best to name the SSID the same as my old modem? Seem to remember that from somewhere. This is not fibre of course. Some powerline adapters coming tomorrow so may try connecting the new kit. should be interesting. 🙄 Anybody using this model?

No reason why you can not keep your existing SSID, save lots of reconfiguring.

The TD-W8961N is for ADSL only and does not support VDSL (Fibre to the Cabinet) are you buying the correct one?

Yes I only have ADSL with plusnet since 2005. What wont need reconfiguring if it's not too long to answer for you?
