Just curious. You mention a switch from Vodafone. Do you have the router they supplied for their service? If so, then it may be compatible with FTTP. And you can try and see if it gives you internet while you wait on the replacement Hub 2.

Hi All, new user question, can't find this elsewhere in Community.

Hub 2 arrived yesterday as part of switch from Vodafone, connected it and no problem with ethernet or WiFi, 500 Mbps download. 👍

This morning red light on hub and no WiFi, fault is "password incorrect". Odd, so self help. Power off / on, factory reset. Also did same from Hub Manager. No change still "password incorrect".

Called plusnet. (Really helpful and top operator btw). Same routine, password reset from their end. Same fault. New hub now in post to replace.

Just wondered if anyone else is having or has had same or similar?

Many thanks.

Thank you @ksaro1 Sadly the Vodafone router, their latest, went back last week. It did give reasonable WiFi over FTTP but the signal strength dropped rapidly when you were around 4-5 metres from it. Yesterday when it worked the plusnet Hub 2 powered past what Vodafone's did. Unfortunately I can't borrow a router as everyone here is on holiday. At least the ethernet is working. Interesting one this and team in Leeds told me that this has been a theme for the last day or two. Thanks again.

Keep in mind that the farther you are from the router and the weaker the 5gHz signal becomes, your device will switch to the 2.4gHz signal band. So, while the router appears to give a longer range than other routers, you need to check if indeed it is at the 5 or 2.4 gHz signal. This is the advantage and disadvantage of the way that the Hub Two presents both signal bands under a single SSID (which BTW you can't unbundle into the 2 separate bands like some other routers)
