My Hub One Router Firmware Needs Updating

Hi,

I've been using a BTHomeHub since I signed up to Plusnet (2 Years Ago), however I am now using the PlusNet provided HubOne, however the firmware must be well out of date: Plusnet Hub One | Software version 4.7.5.1.83.8.259 | Last updated Unknown

I suspect your Hub could have fallen off the management platform after that length of time, but maybe @bobpullen can check for you.

I have a feeling that I've read somewhere on the forums that it's not possible to update a Hub 1 if it has firmware earlier than .263. I think that the url for the management platform changed at .263. I'm sure Bob will be along to confirm ( or not ) ...

@brisycom you should be Ok. I've just found the thread https://community.plus.net/t5/My-Router/Hub-One-5GHz-WiFi-issue/td-p/1696363 and it's only firmware earlier than .259 that can't be updated.

NOTE THAT DEVICES RUNNING FIRMWARE EARLIER THAN 4.7.5.1.83.8.259.1.1 CAN NOT BE REMOTELY UPGRADED AND CUSTOMERS WILL NEED TO CONTACT SUPPORT FOR A SOLUTION IF THEY REQUIRE A HUB WITH THE LATEST UPDATES.
