How do I update the firmware on my Hub One router?

My Hub One is currently running 4.7.5.1.83.8.217.

What do I have to do to update the firmware to the latest version?

@moonfruit Welcome to the forum.

You can’t update it, it’s done remotely by Plusnet. If you factory reset it by pushing a paperclip or similar in the reset hole and keeping the switch closed by about 30 seconds it will reset itself back to the original settings. If the hub is properly registered in the Plusnet system this should trigger a firmware update in the next day or so. Alternatively you need either a helpful Plusnet staffer to come along or ring in and hope that you get an Agent who understands what you want.

That firmware version indicates your Hub One has dropped off the hardware management platform

If you can PM me your username and serial number of the router, I'll be happy to get it added back on

You're on the latest firmware version already, we're due to roll out a newer one within the next couple of months to everybody but if you post Here you may be able to jump the queue.

Hi @Gandalf, I had problems about 18 months ago and after talking to a Plusnet advisor I replaced my modem with identical Sagecom which my daughter no longer needed. All went well after set up but the software has never updated, details are ver 4.7.5.1.83.8.237.2.2 last updated 04/11/2017. As I didn't notify Plusnet of the swop does it need to be added to the hardware management platform?
