Slow upload

Hi, we're getting what I would say was slower than should be upload speeds. Not unusable but not what they should be. Spoken to Plusnet this morning and they've run all the tests and said everything is fine and that's just the speed I get (and that it is above minimum guaranteed speed).

I'm using an ethernet wired directly into the router, which is plugged into the master socket, tested with multiple machines and consistently getting an upload speed of 10mbps.

The BTWholesale test says our IP Profile upload should 20mbps so this does seem slow. The attached image shows the estimated upload to be 17-18mbps (and also shows the current speed as below the minimum)

Is there really nothing that can be done? I can live with the download but the upload is too slow

I'm really sorry to see you're having speed issues, with your upload speed in particular.

I've tested your line today and the tests aren't showing the cause for this, but I can see both your download and upload speeds should absolutely be higher, so I'd like to call out Openreach to take a closer look.

Could you drop me a reply onto the ticket I've created Here with when you'll be available for an engineer visit? If you can post back once you've responded, I'll make sure we book the engineer as soon as we can.
