      <title>Speed dropped way below Minimum Guaranteed Speed</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi All,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I've been struggling with the speed of my FTTC connection of late, so I thought I would run a few speed tests.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;To my surprise the speed is over half what it should be.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I've replaced my vDSL filter with a new filter, but it has made no difference.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I've run a speedtest from&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://speedtest.btwholesale.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;BTW Performance Tester (btwholesale.com)&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;via a cabled connection and it reports a figure of 15.15Mbps, I used to see a figure of around 32Mbps, so I'm down over 50%.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Quite how long its been like this, I cant be sure, but maybe a few weeks.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It may also coincide with a fibre utility company pulling fibre cables around my estate on 17th February 2022.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I did experience a issue like this a few years ago and it was resolved by Openreach recrimping connections between my house and the green cabinet.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I think they may need to come out again.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
