Just buy a router which supports VPN and simply wire it to the hub 2. Note that very few routers support OpenVPN protocol, and the few that do may have speed issues. (eg. RT-AC86u runs out of steam at 75mbps. There is a GLinet AX router which can managed 100 mbps) No need to actually replace the hub 2.

Note that growing number of services may not always work through VPN. eg. banking apps, Netflix, Amazon Prime video. It's something to bear in mind.

I am a new user of the Plus Net fibre broadband service. I am interested in setting up / installing a VPN at the Hub Two router level so that all connected devices are protected. So

1) Is this possible?

2) Any recommendations for which VPN to use?

Thanks in advance.

Pete
