Hi @steve81

Thanks for reaching out. While the responses on this thread are correct, it wouldn't have worked as there were some issues with the components on our end, there was actually no broadband component on the account! This is quite common after a House Move, and sometimes results in us having to create a new account, thankfully though, this won't be necessary for you.

I've sorted out the components on the account and have re-applied the correct contractual discounts, you should now be able to log into your router to authenticate correctly.

New connection very slow download speeds but good load up speeds?

Hi All

I have been on plusnet for 2 years with a very good connection of 60-70mb down and 15-19mb up. I have moved to new house 1 street away and was connected last week. Im now only getting connections around 1-2mbs down but still getting15-19mb up on a wired connection.

I know the DLM process might see my speeds vary for a bit but this doesn't strike me as normal behaviour. Would someone be able to take a look or suggest any solutions?

Thanks

Steve

There is a high chance your router has not moved off the setup@plusdsl.net.

Log into it to check and change it to your username and password.

Getting a pin and holding it for 30 secs in the pinhole at the rear may also help.

Just to say this all worked great, just needed to reset the user details on my modem. Interenet working as expected now, Thanks!
