Hi,

I have 1MB upload speed. Is that normal? Download speed download is 20MB.

Do you have an ADSL or an FTTC line? 20Mb down and 1Mb up is good for ADSL. Although FTTC is faster than ADSL, it degrades with distance more than ADSL does, so if you are a some distance from the cabinet your speed may be all the line can reach.

You can check what the predicted speed is for your line by checking http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/

It looks like when activated your fibre service we put you on the wrong product on our suppliers systems which limits your upload to around 2Mbps.

I've placed the order to correct this for you which will complete tomorrow and should give you faster upload speeds.

Unfortunately the upload speed is still same.

DOWNLOAD 30.87Mbps

UPLOAD 2.07 Mbps

Thanks for getting back to us.

I'm sorry you are still not receiving the upload speeds & I apologise for the frustration caused. On testing the service today it appears the line is banded, as such I have sent a request for this to be reset - it can take up to 72 working hours.
