Your current Hub2 is perfectly good for FTTP - if (which they won't) supplied a new one, it would still be a Hub2.

Hi all
Finally had fibre into the village. So I'm upgrading to 145 Plusnet fibre. My question is , can I keep my existing router which is the hub 2 as I have all sorts connected to it and to be honest connecting my solar and cameras would be a right chew on. In the solar group they recommend keeping existing router ,or alternatively set the new one up with the same security , passwords etc saves any hassle re connecting everything. Is this possible when upgrading ? Excuse ignorance . Alan

The Hub2 is still the router of choice for PlusNet Full Fibre.

All you do is remove the phone cable and connect an ethernet cable to the RED Wan port and the ONT.

So basically just plug new fibre cable into router and remove existing BT phone cable and it'll keep all existing information stored ? Thanks reply and information appreciated 👍
