@sudosaurus

Have you checked whether Full Fibre is avilable at you new property? If you need to check, use this link: https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome

If it's not available then whilst you can negotiate a house move to a downgraded service, you are likely to be charged the same price unless you cancel the existing service and pay hefty ETCs.

My inclination, unless certain that Full Fibre is available at the new address, would be to pay the out of contract price for a couple of months (remember that you pay a month in advance so have probably paid for part way through September already), then arrange a house move to the best speed available. Also, bear in mind that when moving you have the choice of paying a moving fee or starting a new contract.

Alternatively, ring the Customer Options Team on 0800 013 2632 and ask them.

Renewal upgrade offer / moving house

Hello,

My contract is coming up for renewal and I have been sent the renewal offer of either to stay on 500Mbps at £32.99 or upgrade to 900Mbps at £36.99.

I am tempted with the 900Mbps offer.

I am also due to be moving house in/around November (hopefully) so I am not sure what the deal is with getting a line transferred to a new property and whether its just a matter of it being disconnected at the old and connected at the new on the same day or whether there will be any delay in that?

Thanks!

Unless you are 100% sure your new property has fttp available, i'd stay out of contract for 2 months and then move your internet connection to the new property when you are sure of the date of moving etc.

But. i don't know how PN handles house moves so that may complicate things along

You can also give 30 days notice on your net connection with pn but i don't know if theres a cease charge..

So theres a couple of routes to solving your situation
