FTTP is overground or underground?

@Kryten the BT wholesale checker https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome will tell you if FTTP is available and if so, the narrative under the availability matrix will say how its supplied

Although the fibre follows the route of the copper wire (and may replace it if you ask them) there is some lee way as to where the internal ONT goes. It needs a power source but doesn't have to be where the current Master Socket is - if it's technically feasible. You only find out on the day when you speak to the installer.

The router is connected via ethernet cable so can go anywhere you're happy to run said cable.
