Hi,

Im interested in moving from EE to Plusnet Fuill Fibre. I currently have the EE 1.6Gbps connection but don't need it and will move to a 900Mbps service.

However i have a few questions:

1. Can i use my own router (UDM-SE) to directly connection it to the ONT as i currently do with my EE connection?
2. If yes to the above, what are the connection configuration (UN?PW/VLAN?MAC) requirements?
3. Does Plusnet do any form of filtering on their connection?
4. Does Plusnet deploy any form of CGNAT?
5. I assume by default the connection is dynamic IP and not static.

TIA

1) Yes

2) See here https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/broadband-connection-settings/ , you need the 'what seetings should I use for a fibre router that's connected to a BT openreach modem' (the ONT is effectively a fibre modem). In reality only the username/password will be different to your current connection

3) No

4) No

5) Yes. Static IP's are no longer available to new customers.
