      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am moving into a new build property which is full fibre ready, i have booked full fibre, my ONT does not have a red ethernet port instructions says connect red to red, so can i just connect any&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;ethernet&amp;nbsp;cable.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Cheers&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I believe the current ONT's only have one ethernet port so that is what you use.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;On the PN Hub2 it's a different matter. You must use the red WAN port for the ONT connection.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.plus.net/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/145641"&gt;@martyncr4&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;if possible, try and ensure the ONT is left powered up. Openreach will try and test it during the ordering process. If it passes then they can activate the connection remotely which will only take a day or two. If it fails it may require an engineer visit.which will likely be a week or two.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
