Why do I get different speeds from the three ports i'm connected to 150Mbs line desktop speed 140 to 150Mbs constant for almost 2 year on a 25meter cat 6 cable yet when i connect my laptop with a 2 meter cat 5a cable to another port 90Mbs speed.What speed should i get when i connect direct to the ONT with my laptop i'm getting 90Mbs confused

All ports on the Hub Two and ONT are auto negotiate up to 1000Mbps, your symptoms suggest a defect cable.

The speeds achieved directly connected to the ONT will be that of your contract.

SECOND EDIT: try this command in a dos box

wmic nic where netEnabled=true get name, speed

Forgot to mention WiFi gives me 150mbs on the laptop

Tested today new cat 5e got 90Mbs I've ordered a cat 6 just to rule out cable which I think I already have

Crikey! That wmic is a powerfully complicated command (being trying it out in my Win 8.1 machine - is deprecated for Win 10 and beyond). I might even be able to use it to investigate some questions I previously had about a little Wi-Fi adaptor I bought for my PC.

Nope!

"dos box" (should be "DOS box"?) was the original term for a window in earlier versions of Windows for running PC/MS DOS programmes and the old DOS CLI, COMMAND.COM.

Long gone from Windows (with the advent of 'real mode' 32 Bit versions of Windows), superseded by the current version based on COMMAND.EXE, the Windows Command Window (Command prompt) which cannot run DOS programmes. Though the CLI has many features and commands that are the same or similar to the original DOS CLI ones using COMMAND.COM.

From habit and for convenience many still refer to this as a Windows "DOS box" - though it could more properly be called 'DOS box', as the real DOS box is merely a memory.

The laptop being used how old is it, any idea on the network interface details.

Maybe share the laptop Full model details, it might be the ethernet interface speed setting has be miss configured

The wmic nic where netEnabled=true get name, speed should reveal the 'nic' (network interface card) details
