topic ONT PON Flashing in Full Fibre

Had FTTP installed 2 months ago, all been fine.

Today the network has been down for a couple of hours now with the PON light flashing green (no alarm light, LAN and Power solid green). From what I can tell this is the ONT trying to connect, but I'm not sure if this means they are working on the exchange and it might come back in a bit, or if somebody has disrupted my connection and I need to raise a fault. Any thoughts?

Thank you for your patience.

We have identified an issue which requires an engineer to attend your property. We have booked the appointment for the engineer to arrive between xxxxxxxxxx.
We will be back in touch as soon as we have an update.

its a 2 month old line - sounds like another clumsy OR engineer in the area to me, things going wrong always seem to coincide with them starting work 🙄

OR engineer came, light being received at the ONT so he spent 40 minutes on the phone to the tech people, changed the ONT, only to come to the conclusion I'm on the wrong splitter and it needs a different engineer to sort that out - how does that happen when its been working for 2 months? Will definitely get fixed in the next 2 days 🙄🤞
