Which box do I connect plusnet router too ?

Hi,
Hoping someone can help ?
Switching from BT fibre (they attended my house and fixed Fibre box the below the Master socket
So when my Plusnet router arrives do I connect to the box that I currently get fibre through or the master socket above ?
So confused

Connect the Plusnet router same way as the BT router.

The BT router will also work if you change the login credentials.

Agreed but BT demand their routers are returned after leaving BT on pain of being charged.
Hence, the advice.

@Dave27 Have you actually changed to FTTP (full fibre) If you have you will have an Openreach ONT installed, is this what is below the old master socket? You were not getting full fibre from the master socket, probably fibre to the cabinet.

If you have the ONT you connect your Plusnet router WAN port to the ONT with an ethernet cable, the old master socket is no longer in use, I hope you realise that you no longer have a phone service, Plusnet do not provide that on their full fibre product.

If you are still confused about what type of broadband service you have, can you post a photo of the master socket and the "box underneath it"?

When you reply to a message you get a list of options above the message box. If you choose the rectangular box with a mountain in it you can post the image in the body of the message.

In addition to the above, if you are using a smart phone or tablet when replying to a post you need the browser to use 'Desktop Site" or words to that effect
