Very slow upload speeds

Hi, recently I noticed that my upload speed has gone down tremendously and I have no idea why. I thought it would go away after a while but it didn't. My download speed is fine, great even (500Mbps), but the upload speed can't even go past 1Mbps.

Also I didn't know where to post this but here I am now.

Edit: I tried restarting my router but that didn't help.

Was the speed test over ethernet or wifi?

Do you see low upload speeds with another device?

It was on an ethernet connection, and it was the same on my phone too.

Also after making this thread, a couple hours later my internet shut off by itself for a couple of minutes and then turned on. I checked the speeds and it seemed to have fixed itself?
