I want to upgrade to full fibre. There is only one socket available however. Can I use an extension for the equipment?

The engineer will install a new ONT in your house, the phone socket will no longer be used.
You can discuss with the engineer where you would like the ONT placing and if it's reasonable they should accomadate that.

There shouldn’t be a problem using a mains adapter or extension lead.
