topic Orange Light in Full Fibre

We got full fiber connected a month ago upgrading from previous Plusnet broadband but we have been away and only got to set up the router today. When connected the hub light stays solid orange. I rang support and they are sending another router but in the interim I tried by Plusnet Hub 1 and found the same issue with it so not hopeful a new hub will help. I’ve factory reset both routers. Changed password but no change. Checked log and it says PPP sending PADI but nothing else. BTOpenreach box shows all green lights. Any thoughts on what I can try while waiting on new router?

Stupid question time.

Are you using an ethernet cable plugged into the WAN socket on the router? Do you have a spare cable to try?
