topic New EE mobile packages via Plusnet in Everything else

I moved to EE Mobile 2 years ago as Plusnet started phase out their service.

All has been OK but EE are going to move me to a new package that is not what I want.

I see that Plusnet have a link to a £6 EE deal that would meet my needs.

Does anyone know if I will be able to port my existing EE number to the new Plusnet EE package.

I have spoken to EE and they seem to be unaware of the deal and would not look into it for me.

Any help would be great. Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place

You cannot port a number from / between the same supplier. Best to find the PlusNet EE deal and ask EE if they will honour it.

If not, look at porting your number to a virtual mobile network that runs on the EE network if that is the best network for you.
Other networks may be better.
Normally, other networks also do not have a yearly price rise.

Thank you for your advice. If I went to a virtual network can I still keep my number?

Yes, just port in the number. Some ask you for your PAC on sign up. Best to find a supplier first check that you are happy with the service, then port in your number. You will need a PAC. Text PAC to 65075 from your existing number. They are valid for 30 days
