The static IP address I have been using since being a Plusnet customer has just been forcefully removed from my hub during the middle of the working day?

As per this post https://community.plus.net/t5/Full-Fibre/Static-IP-Addresses-Can-No-Longer-Be-Added-To-Accounts/td-p/1994381, I see that no new static IPs are being added to accounts but I don't see any communication in my inbox that existing IPs were being removed? If I'd known I wouldn't have renewed my contract..

I'm probably an outlier in my use case for my IP, but I'm now left without connectivity to hundreds of devices that will need their ingress ACLs updating.

Hey,

Sorry for what has happened.

I think I've sorted it, please could you reboot your hub or do a single disconnect/reconnect of the PPP?

Once it reconnects, you should get the same IP back. Please let us know if there's any further issues.

For the benefit of all reading this topic, there have been occasions where a change to the contract on an account (renewal, upgrade or house move) can cause the existing static IP address to become "detached" from the account.

Staff can easily restore the static IP address by refreshing that component ... if they are aware of the process. Unfortunately there have been a couple of occasions where front line staff have conflated these occurrences with the cessation of providing new static IP allocations.
