Hello,

I have renew my broadband contract and remain 11 months. But I find that my Norton Security will be expired on May-2025. After May-2025, will I have a new license for Norton (provide by Plusnet)? Thank you.

Hey @chanhk,

If you have taken the 2 year free trial for Norton, you won’t be able to get another free trial. However, you can purchase a 1 year license you can use the discount code 'PLUSNET3' to adjust the price from £75.00 to £24.00 this can only be done on the Norton portal

@chanhk Although I don't use any Windows systems these days, I would suggest totally dumping Norton, unless you have any need for any 'special' features it may have.

From what I have read about it, the native Windows Defender, or whatever the built-in default program is called these days, is more than adequate for any home user.

My Norton 2 years license is from my previous 300MB Plusnet contract and then Plusnet offered me 500MB around one year ago. Now, my 500MB contract will be end after a year. Please tell me that why I need to pay £24.00 for renew Norton 1 year license. I am still under Plusnet contract for a year. Please advice. Thank you.

Hey @chanhk,

If you renew a contract, it does not extend the Norton license. The 2-year License starts when the addon is added to your account do you happen to know the exact date when the addon was added to your account.
