When can I upgrade to fibre

Hi again , I'm wondering if someone in here can find out when I'll be able to upgrade to full fibre. I can't find any info on the openreach site it obviously hasn't been updated. Everything is in place in our town just doesn't seem to be any updates from companies regarding using it. I won't change from Plusnet hence why I'm asking here regarding it. Been waiting for somlong , would really appreciate any input.

If it was an AltNet then nothing will show up on OpenReach.

Thanks mate didn't see that. It says not available. I don't get it they have been doing the work for ages even up until last week. I was talking to one of them and he said they have finished all work basically. This is so frustrating.

Openreach are the ones doing all the work. Well it's there vans that have been at every spot.

It does say so further down fttp on demand available 330mbps

Although it looks complete there could be work required further up the line or a fault may have been found during commissioning. You would just need to keep checking on a regular basis.

Are you currently served by an overhead or underground copper cable? If o/h then a CBT (Connectorised Block Terminal) should have been fitted to the pole serving you. The same thing goes in the underground chamber but you won't be able to see that.

Have a look at www.openreach.com - put your post code in and it should tell you if OR have plans (or even building) in your area.

FTTP on Demand is an expensive way of getting full fibre and is only offered by a handful of ISP's.
