Can't reach NS&I login page

Yesterday I tried to login to my NS&I account but the link to https://secure.nsandi.com can't be reached and the windows diagnostic tool on my computer said I should contact my ISP

I have rebooted my router and added the site as an exception in my Bitdefender dashboard. Still no luck.

I can reach the page on my phone, but only if I switch from Wi-Fi to 4G, which does suggest it is something on the PN side.

Is anyone else having trouble with this?

I've just tried using the link, not working for me either, works fine on mobile data.

@Clarissa I don't think it is 'on PN's side' - I can't reach it on a Zen connection either, and they use totally different DNS servers (their own).

I did. It doesn't work anymore over normal use of the internet.

I used to be able to access the login page. I have been accessing this site for years, and always using PN internet. But it doesn't work today, or yesterday.

I have found I can get in via a VPN, as well as 4G.

Not sure what to do. The diagnostic tool said my computer is configured correctly, so reluctant to make changes to router or firewall settings my side.

Just a thought - wonder if NSI&I have changed the IP for that page and it hasn't worked its way to the DNS servers yet?

I doubt it's a DNS issue as nslookup resolves https://secure.nsandi.com to 157.203.60.156 on my plusnet connect and mobile data

The site does not respond to ping, you can login using mobile data.

@Dan_the_Van Strange - I can get the login page up if I go via the home page, but get this response (on FF), if I click the 'secure.nsiandi.com' link in the OP.

Same result here.

Possibly not what you want to hear, but if you can get access via a VPN and others are experiencing the same problem, just do nothing, sit back and relax, and wait for things to sort themselves out.

At least NS&I won't have gone bankrupt!

https://www.nsandi.com

That works for me, on Plusnet broadband, but https://secure.nsandi.com does not.

Correct

I can reach the NS&I home page (https://www.nsandi.com) and read all about their products and services, but as soon as I click the Login button, which is supposed to take you to https://secure.nsandi.com, the connection is interrupted and I get the message that the site has taken too long to respond, and I should contact my ISP.

I also have this exact issue. I did speak to support but didn't really have any luck. Hopefully, the Plusnet guys will see that this is not isolated and get it sorted.
