Vigor 130 vs 166/167 for 65mbs VDSL2 line

Hello Everyone, I would appreciate you comments regarding which Dray Tek Vigor modem I should go for. I have a VDSL2 line, around 65mbs and I need a modem to use with my Netgear AX2400 (RX30)

The Vigor 130 seems the obvious choice but I like the idea of the second ethernet connection (for monitoring /DSL status etc) offered by the 166 and 167 models but they are more costly and I’m not convinced that the extra cost is justified.

The 166 has the benefit of some future proofing via the inclusion of G.Fast but Open Reach don’t plan to offer anything other than the existing service for quite a few years

I see you've sort of asked this question before.

Unless you have an internet connection prone to disconnects and you want to monitor them, I would save your money and carry on using the Hub two in bridge mode.

At some point you will be going to Full Fibre so any presumed future proofing would be lost as any modem device would become redundant.
