rDNS change on personal FTTP account

Anyone able to help here. Telephone support seem to be claiming that this isn't possible any longer, yet my portal/dashboard suggests this needs raising via a Help Assistant link to get the record amended? Anyone able to confirm one or both points or where best to raise this as the Help Assistant seems to have been switched off for pretty much any questions?

It is still possible, and here is the right place to raise it. One of the PN help team will spot this thread ( may take a day or two ) and raise a 'ticket' to which you can reply with the rDNS setting you require. They will then pass that on to Netops to make the change.

The PTR record has been changed; but it's not correct still? Not sure quite why this is so hard (or takes so long) to get corrrectly actioned.

What did your PTR record get changed to @ceebee6cc ? I was informed that only <static ip>.plus.com is available now. Did you get told the same thing?

Funnily enough, just after I posted here, the PTR was updated to the rDNS entry requested. And to answer your question @Jackobyte I'm told the rDNS can be anything you require, not just the static IP so e.g. mine now shows:

host 212.159.110.89
89.110.159.212.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer 6cc.salutethepig.berlin.
