Ccgi webspace - can't log in

I'm trying to access my ccgi webspace for the first time in a long time and the password won't work with either Filezilla or hosting.plus.net

I'm absolutely sure that the password was the same as my plusnet login. But it's not working.

I tried the password reset on hosting.plus.net, but three attempts later and the password reset email hasn't arrived in any of my mailboxes.

Wonder if any of the support guys could reset this for me? I'm trying to back up everything prior to (hopefully) getting FTTP upgrade tomorrow.

What username are you entering during the password reset process?

It needs to be in the same format as the CGI HTTP address, e.g. 'ccgi.<username>.plus.com'.

Also of note is that the FTP password is separate to the hosting.plus.net login so if you have forgotten that too, then you may need to change it once logged into the Control panel.

Thanks Bob, yes I've been using the username in that format.

I didn't know the two passwords were separate, looks like both may need reset!

I've triggered a Hosting Portal password reset from the back-end system. It's seemingly been sent to the email address associated with your Plusnet account. Let me know if you don't receive it and I'll think of another method.

Since Sep 2022I I also have this problem, although I have had and used my CCGI space for about 17 years, I hadn't updated for a while but when I tried I could not login (via ftp client) I phoned many times but was told no-one could help me, or to wait for a password reset link to come, when I mentioned I had tried that with no result I was again told that no-one could help "Until" I had the reset link (catch 22)

Please help as I really need to update my site

Since Sep 2022 I have not been able to upload content to my CCGI space, I have phoned support many times with no help, I tried the password reset option (even though I know it was correct) but not no post / link, support (via phone) claimed that unless I had that link they could not help, (catch 22) I not getting the link post (a problem) but they cant help with that until I do

Please someone help

Thanks. I think I see what's going wrong with the system-generated reset emails.

I've just dropped an email to the contact address on your account. Hopefully it helps.

I did get that, where would I find FTP Manager? I tried via the CGI Space icon but that only sent me to

https://hosting.plus.net/portal/

where I cannot login

Sorry if I'm just having a senior moment maybe a link would help

@Real_Grizzly - the details I emailed to you will allow you to log into the the control panel at https://hosting.plus.net

The FTP Manager is found by navigating through that site once logged in.

an dso far (since Sep 2022) I don't had any post with a reset link, but I have just tried that again

I manually sent you an email earlier. Are you saying you have not received this?

The email I sent contains the details required to access the hosting.plus.net account, and they definitely work.

If you did not receive this email, then please take a look at the recently opened support tickets on your account here instead.

arrived 13:29 (just before you said you sent a manual email)

I have now managed to get into

https://hosting.plus.net/portal/

and my ccgi space
