Yes I get that using Chrome and Edge when I try to access the home page but can get other screens via bookmarks I have set (but still cannot then get to home screen but can move around others without issue).

As I have only encountered this on the PN home page I suspect it may be coding in that rather than MS that is to blame. The whole Home page flashes up then disappears to leave the black band. I get the same if I try to log in on my Android phone.

@jgb I have no issues getting the proper/full page up on my FF browser - although I am running Linux. Bit of a pain setting the Windows machine to check, but I will if I get a spare 20 minutes or so.

Tried just now (8:20pm.) with the latest FF, at first it said there was a problem but when I tried again straight away there was no problem.

Curiously I attempted logging into the members centre this morning with the same problem.

I then logged out and attempted logging into my daughter's account....no problem.

I am on the force9 visp, the daughter is on plusnet.

I still have the same problem today on both Chrome and Edge despite clearing caches. I can get into any member centre pages via bookmarks but still cannot get the home page to display. I am on Plusnet not one of the legacy providers, as you call them.

Very strange, @jgb . I'm not even a PN customer any more - just have a 'mail only' account. I'll fire the Windows machine up later and see if I can get in.

Just checked on my Android phone and it is exactly the same albeit the browser is still Chrome. Looks to me as if it is yet another bug in the Plusnet site.

Last week on logging in I was sometimes seeing the orange change in progress banner (there were no changes in progress) before that sorted itself without any moves on my part and the home page displayed as it should. Oh well, we do love the Plusnet eccentricities!

I am now getting the same problem as @Strat and @jgb, in Edge, Firefox and Safari on my ipad. So not an MS issue. I'm also not on a legacy account.

@bobpullen If it helps, I can confirm I have no issues on FF105.0 (Linux) or 105.0.2 (W7 SP1) - both 64bit.

Just run out of time to edit -in both cases, this was from the 'My Account' tab at the top of the forum page, although I doubt that makes a difference.

For completeness, the laptop I am having the issue on is running W11 Home 22H2; Chrome is version 106.0.5249.119 (Official Build) (64-bit) (incidentally it updated first thing today and so the issue was also there with the previous version); Edge is Version 106.0.1370.42 (Official build) (64-bit).

My phone is running Android 12. I also have the same issue when I try to use my tablet which is running Android 8.1.0.

As I said, if I try to log in normally, which takes me to the home page, I get the issue. However, if I log in using a bookmark directly to another page (e.g. Billing and Payments) that opens correctly and I can navigate from there to anywhere except the home page which always gives the issue.

I suspect it could be related to the subscription status of an account. Got a feeling it might affect those without a paid subscription?

To add a bit more to the mix, my iPad Mini4 and iPhone8 both refuse to login unless I clear and manually re-enter the username and password - both machines are using iOS 15.7 and the latest iOS FF version (105, I believe).

No Bob - I am 'mail only' and only have the issues as described above on my iOS devices - no trouble on either of my laptops.

Well, my bill was generated last Friday and payment will be taken tomorrow if all goes as Plusnet's systems predict. I shall see if things change once that payment is taken. I am in a contract with five months to run and have not seen this before but then I have had various other long running billing issues which are supposedly fixed.

It seems odd that it only affects the home page and not any other page in my member centre.
