Freenetname email and domain has stopped working

Hi,

Today I've noticed my freenetname domain email and site have stopped working - webmail is ok (< 250mb)

It has been fine for years, but today it has stopped.

Any ideas?

I believe we've since discussed this via private message. Really odd issue as everything points to the domain being OK.

I've raised it across to NetOps and I'll update the support ticket 217687673 as soon as I know more.

Thanks for that. Rebooting the PlusNet router solved the email issue, but the website at the domain is still unreachable.

I've messaged you back....

I'm glad to see your emails are back now. I can't check the website our side and I don't believe anybody else can either but you should be able to FTP into it to make sure all looks OK.

As your emails are working again let's see if your website comes back by itself over the next few hours as it may take some time for DNS propagation, depending on what the issue is/was.

All good now, thanks - must have been some kind of glitch - and Freenetname/MAAF doesn't seem to support not having the www. in the domain name, so putting that in front works now lovely.

Hi @Caesura Ah awesome, I'm glad to see your website works again now.

Yeah I know for Plusnet hosted websites there's an option in our Domain Control System (DCS) to turn www support on/off. Fairly sure that doesn't exist for Madasafish(Freenetname) hosted websites.

No problem at all, let me know if there's ever anything else you'd need help with.
