I am using the Mail app in iPadOS for webmail.

It's been fine until a few minutes ago. I'm unable to send email. The error message is:-

"Cannot send mail. The connection to the outgoing server "relay.plus.net" failed. Additional outgoing mail severs can be configured..." etc.

Is this a PN fault? Is it the Greenby switch?

Edit: it appears to be working again. 🤞

TM: no such info provided.

What preceded this was not being able to send email but no warning. I then spotted that every outgoing email in the Sent folder was marked with a red circle & slash. Tapping on one took me to a blocked senders list in the device Settings which I confess I didn't know existed. Scrolling down I recognised the incoming spam emails I have blocked in the Mail app. I then found my PN address! I deleted it, went back to the Sent folder and sure enough all the warning markers had gone. Naturally, I tried sending a test email and that was when the PN server failure pop up arrived. An hour or two later normal service was resumed presumably by PN. Fingers crossed!

Coukd have just been a couple of things together. At the time I replied I’d seen intermittent sending issues.

My emails are now being bounced by certain recipient's hosts as too many"plus" emails are being sent. Not by me!
