Hi all. My parents were moved to Greenby, but they have e-mail forwarding setup from Godaddy to their custom domain.

It seems to have stopped working, when you try and send an e-mail, it says sender address invalid.

We are using Apple devices.

Do Greenby allow you to send with an alternative reply to address? I tried the alias function, but it only specifies address with the original plusnet domain.

Otherwise we will need to look at GoDaddy for an e-mail provider.

Thanks.

The plusnet smtp server was migrated to Greenby a few days ago and its no longer possible to send from a domain address that's not hosted by Plusnet/Greenby

Its been discussed at length in a number of threads including

Why are they not using Godaddy’s mail servers?

Take a look at smtp2go.com. You can send from any domain or address over which you can demonstrate control. For a domain this means adding 3 records to the DNS. Free plan is 1000 mails per month with 5 days sent log which is great for troubleshooting delivery issues because you can see when and to what server mail was delivered. I replaced relay.plus.net with this on my mailserver.
