Finally get to complain about Greenby email!!!

Sending messages are failing. Get the following

A standard PN email address using Pegasus Mail.

Any thoughts?

Hi Brian,

Is the FROM address an explicitly configured email address on the Greenby service? Explicit configuration means that either it is a mailbox or an alias for a mailbox.

If the domain side is not @account.plus.com is the domain name hosted by Greenby (can you see it referenced in the portal)?

Thanks for replying.

My apologies for this thread - I posted in a hurry before going out without realising the subject was already covered. I've not been paying attention to email Threads as mine worked!!!

Logging into Greenby and adding my address as an Alias appears to have sorted things.

It works for most … until one tries to “Send As.., an alias”.

Is there a thread on this that someone can point me at? I too was using the SMTP server with a Send As address which is now failing with the same error. Trying to fix it! Someone mentioned logging into the portal
Is that a Greenby portal? Again any help in pointing me too that would be appreciated.

The same advice has been posted a dozen or more times in the last 2 days.

Yes use the www.greenby.com portal. Login with the same credentials as are used for the Plusnet Members Center.

Look at post #2 of this thread for what needs to be in place and also what can not be done.

After logging into GreenBy select Emails - Manage

Then select Mailboxes

Then click on the 3 dots to the right and select Alias

Add your email

This worked for me.
