I have just received an email stating the following:

Attention: *****I,

At 7/28/2026 9:57:11 a.m. ******@globalnet.co.uk server was upgraded to a newer version.

Reconfirm your <deleted>@globalnet.co.uk below to continue using globalnet.co.uk Services.

Failure to Reconfirm Mail account might lead to loss of incoming/outgoing emails

Is it genuine?

The server mail.globalnet.co.uk is still hosted by Plusnet i.e has not been upgraded or migrated.

Check the email of the sender, it reads like a scam.

The email has come from info@updatezon.com.

At the bottom it is signed: Message from Globalnet Admin

I think you are right and it is a scam.

Definitely a scam!
