    <description>&lt;P&gt;Further to my message of yesterday Greenby have told me that the first attempt to migrate my account was only partially successful. The second attempt was stated as being successful, maybe it was - but I have missing messages. I access emails in imap mode and also created some extra folders on the server at Plus.net.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately only the basic folders were migrated - inbox, drafts, sent etc.... But not (for instance) the folder with all my proof of job search activities that I was keeping in case Universal Credit ever accuse me of not looking for work. There were other folders too.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;After trialing various configurations I now have access to my emails in several of the email software inboxes that I use - but not in Windows Mail. I am still working on that and suspect that its age and limited security protocols (eg: it only has SSL / no STARTTLS) are an issue. This is Windows 7 software as I refuse to use Windows 10 or 11. I'd use Windows XP if it still could - its vastly superior and unlike newer operating systems when a folder is opened in XP it shows the contents immediately (zero delay!!) whereas newer &lt;SPAN&gt;operating systems&lt;/SPAN&gt; make you wait whilst they 'discover' what is in the folder. The inability to get Windows Mail to work is not a deal-breaker for me as my future plans are to switch to Linux and access Windows in Virtual Box without web access.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;A few tips which I do not recall receiving in a full message telling me how to change my email system.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;whereas receiving Plus.net emails required us to configure access to receive emails based upon our user Plusnet user name and the email box user name (eg: username+simon) with the new system we must use our actual email address (eg: simon@username.f9.co.uk)&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;To get the information with the required data to configure my email inboxes I logged in to Greenby using my Plusnet account username and password and went to 'emails'. I then looked for my personal email account and clicked the three dots on the far right of the screen. From the option menu I selected "connect devices". From here I clicked the "advanced users" option and this came up with a page entitled 'manual config'. Whilst here I also used the "reset password" option and created a new password that is over 15 digits long (I am not disclosing the exact number), a mix of upper and lower case letters, and includes both numbers and spacial characters.&amp;nbsp; A row of green lights suggested that the system was happy with my password. Of course I also had to feed my new password in to my email software.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For the record the manual config page says this: (complete with a lower case letter i - for incoming - thus is very sloppy and does not create confidence in them).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For security reasons (as this is a public forum) 'username' replaces my real Plusnet user name&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Not receiving emails to Force9 Email</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've had a force9 email account for years but suddenly not receiving any mails.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I can send but not receive.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;haven't received any emails since the 14th Nov.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I've cleared any large emails with attachments and emptied my deleted items .&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Is there anything else I can try?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;All looks good at the moment, but for testing purposes, can you send yourself an email, does it arrive or bounce?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I have just spoken to support on the phone who were very helpful and we are basically stuffed till after migration&amp;lt;mine should be 25th nov&amp;gt; we maybe able to receive mail but we may not and it could be some time after moving to greenby that is sorted.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Stuffed basically could be unable to access mail for weeks&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I am going to start moving over to a new email address which will be lots of hassle having used this for over 25 years but I see no alternative.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a relative who is experiencing the same as above.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Stopped receiving Force9 email on 19th November.&amp;nbsp; Assume he is being migrated.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;No idea the migration date... hope it's tomorrow: 25th November, the same as Simon.&amp;nbsp; The first we had heard of Greenby or any migration was a google search.&amp;nbsp; His email is in the format aaa@bbb.force9.co.uk so hoping this will be migrated okay.&amp;nbsp; He cannot login to webmail via the old link (&lt;A href="https://webmail.plus.net/" target="_blank"&gt;https://webmail.plus.net/&lt;/A&gt;) nor the new Greenby.com link.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;My email is a similar format.&amp;nbsp; I could log on to webmail but still not receiving emails there and it's been like that since the 16th.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I hope it gets sorted soon as I'm expecting some important mails that will only get sent to my force9 account as it is the one registered with the company.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;If I change my login to aaa@bbb.&lt;STRONG&gt;f9&lt;/STRONG&gt;.co.uk (replace &lt;STRONG&gt;force9&lt;/STRONG&gt; with &lt;STRONG&gt;f9&lt;/STRONG&gt;) this seems to do the trick with my mail client - not sure if this is just temporary.&amp;nbsp; I used imap.force9.net and relay.force9.net.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I can also login with just 'bbb' on greenby.com and I see my relative has 23 days left to pay... from there I can also view all the mailboxes including aaa@bbb.f9.co.uk and 'view webmail'.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;It might be a viable short term mitigation so long as that does not change the SENDING address or RECEIVING address and can be so configured on your email client.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;There are various email clients out there for which the email address and the userID are in separable.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;It is difficult to endorse this as a working solution.&amp;nbsp; On some limited testing which I have done, this does not work for a secondary mailbox - logging on with&amp;nbsp;aaa@bbb.&lt;STRONG&gt;f9&lt;/STRONG&gt;.co.uk where aaa is a secondary mailbox fails with a temporary authentication error.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;What did not work for login to greenby.com is any of the following Username / email addresses:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;bbb+aaa&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;aaa@bbb.force9.co.uk&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;aaa@bbb.f9.co.uk&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;With an email client I can login with aaa@bbb.f9.co.uk (not aaa@bbb.force9.co.uk) however, the login username is now the email address aaa@bbb.f9.co.uk rather than previously with force9 where it was bbb+aaa.&amp;nbsp; So a different set up was required to make it work.&amp;nbsp; But having done that, my relative is happy and has paid the £15.&amp;nbsp; Appreciate others may have a different view.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
