This is probably down to Outlook and its "I know what I am doing" self configuration of the outbound server.

Plusnet's outbound server is not smtp.something - it is relay.something depending on the brand. Correct the server name and the certificate issue will be rectified.

Can someone please advise me? I use Outlook classic as my email client (I am physically disabled and use speech recognition and Outlook classic works well with this software).

For the past few weeks, the 1st time I try to send an email, I received the following error:-
the server you are connected to is using a security certificate that cannot be verified

The target principle name is incorrect.

Do you want to continue using the server?

Now if I click yes, the email send successfully. However is there anyway I can fix this?

Thanks
