Email address has been hacked

hello

my main PLUS email address has been leaked (username@username.plus.com) and I am now recieveing lots of SPAM emails.

Is there anyway I can get these spam emails blocked at the main webmail service rather than have to create rules on all my 6 different devices (desktop, iPad, phones)

One of the consequences of an email address being spoofed to send spam (often referred to as “being hacked”) is the “back scatter” of non-delivery reports being returned. They come from a multitude of random services not specific ones which can be blacklisted surgically.

@jab1 is correct, there is nothing a user can do about this, as back scatter is addressed to them and comes from everywhere.

Filters are a means of inhibiting the receipt of email from specific senders.

Changing one’s email password might inhibit continued abuse of one’s email service, but that’s not going to do much to stop the ability to of mal-actors to make their spam email appear to come from you.
