Windows 11 - New Outlook - Connect with Plusnet - Madasafish

Afternoon,

I am trying to connect my Plusnet/Madasafish email to my new Windows 11 online Outlook setup.

I've read through the topics. I think this points to the possible answer, in terms of a manual intervention in setting up email to type in SMTP codes.

However, I'm not sure which exact server codes so I need to enter to send / receive email. Grateful for a steer.

Refer to the userID section which should provide guidance and a method of testing your login details.

I find these pages very technical, though the configuration box is helpful. I think I'll have to slowly work my way through.

My Mum has decided to move over to Gmail address still within outlook but still has a globalnet email.

I was going to setup a email forward from plusnet to gmail but I understand that’s not possible. What’s the best way she can still receive globalnet emails but then will reply with gmail via outlook. Regards

Fixing this would be so much easier by finding a decent email client. There are plenty of fairly good free ones, such as Thunderbird or eM Client ... or pay for proper Outlook.
