Unable to log into webmail

Hi, Anyone else unable to lo log into their webmail this morning?

I get the error "log in failed"

All my mail working ok through Outlook client though!

It's legacy Freenetname account if that makes any difference!

I am having the same problems as the other users above. Attempting to login to WebMail using my usual credentials gives Login Failed. I have noticed that WebMail home screen now says RoundCube WebMail. I'm pretty sure it used to say PlusNet WebMail

For anyone encountering / reporting this issue, it would help if you can state...

vISP email brand
The server selected from the third box on the logon screen
What credential 'type' you are using - email address or account / account+mailbox

Hi All,

I'm running into this issue currently.
I get a "Login Failed" error when trying to sign in to the webmail client.
Attempting to use the "Basic Webmail" option gives me this error

"ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server.
Query: LOGOUT"

I'm not sure what the vISP brand is, but its a Plus.net adress.

Plus.net is the server

Credential is Email Address + Password

plus.net are staff only business addresses.

Hi I’ve been having the same issue ref inability to login to ‘some’ legacy email accounts thru webmail - I can still login to my ……..@ic24.net email thru webmail but the ……@ageltd.co.uk emails (x2) which are sub emails to the ….@ic24.net email doesn’t login to webmail/squirrel mail - these emails are from the old ic24 and madasafish systems (fault encountered for a week). Whilst the webmail system is problematic for these two emails - all emails work fine thru a mail application (like Outlook)
I hope that there’s a solution / work around available

Hi I have used both the webmail links- unfortunately same issue on each for the …..@ageltd.co.uk emails (x2) - as I say only a problem on webmail not thru Outlook 😞

@AG57 Why do you actually need to use webmail if all your emails are working through the Outlook client. when I used Plusnet email I never needed to use webmail. You seem to have a rather complex legacy set up.

There are things going on in the background in preparation for the Greenby migration so this may be a factor in your webmail problems.
