I clicked the PN tickets link and can now see several messages from Plusnet - NB none of these were sent to my current plusnet email address, they all appear to have been sent to an old wanadoo email address which went out of use many years ago

Guessing you need to check whether your contact e-mail address on the PN portal at https://www.plus.net/member-centre/login - log in then select 'manage account details' - is somehow shown as the old wanadoo e-mail address (?)

If so, is straightforward to change to your current PN e-mail address.

Btw the "archive restore thread" (latest page) is at https://community.plus.net/t5/Email/Archived-mailbox-Request-for-it-to-be-unarchived-here-Part-2/m-p/2006958/highlight/true#M49459 .

Don't know if anyone is having similar issues, but all the emails in my inbox as well as everything in my sent items disappeared yesterday 1st May. I'm pretty desperate to get them back as I have holiday details and other important things there. I'm sure I didn't delete the mails or archive them by mistake.

Can anyone help please?, I would be really grateful.

Thanks

Has your mailbox been archived?

Have you been receiving high utilisation notices by email, followed by a warning that the mailbox will be archived? Check your ticket history to see if such message appear there and that they are being sent to a mailbox which you still monitor.

Double check that this is not a client side problem - access the mailbox using webmail to confirm that it is empty ... and that your 'experience' is not just a failure of your email client.

I have seen iPhone mail get confused and show no mail in the application, which I can see on my desktop.

Hi,

I've not received any emails warning about high utilisation or archiving of anything. It's the same whether I access my inbox via my phone or desktop pc. I am still receiving emails now, but everything in my inbox prior to thursday has gone, as has my sent items. I'm not sure what you mean by check my ticket history as I didn't raise any tickets - sorry I'm not too tech savvy!

Right - I can now see what's happened. I clicked the PN tickets link and can now see several messages from Plusnet - NB none of these were sent to my current plusnet email address, they all appear to have been sent to an old wanadoo email address which went out of use many years ago, so I have been completely unaware that all of my messages were about to be archived.

Can this be retrieved - I've had no notification of this happening at all via my current email address. Thanks

All communications are sent to the account's contact email address (managed via the Plusnet user portal).

You can request an archive restore request on the archive restore thread.
