As luck would have it, my daughter's Macbook was offline and had not synched. I had her copy everything to a new folder on the Macbook and we were able to save most of the emails, although we did lose the last 5 days emails. Thankfully the organisations she had etickets for, also provided ways of retrieving the etickets too.

It's a shame the mailboxes aren't snapshotted occasionally.

I had one of those 'Important Information Regarding Your Account' emails, and it showed that my daughter's mailbox was the chief culprit. So I logged into webmail and deleted some emails, then I tried to delete the emails from the Deleted Items folder.

She has just reported that all her emails have gone, so I suspect that was me and that I have inadvertently deleted all the emails in her inbox, although I don't see any emails in her Deleted Items folder either. She has tickets for concerts, theatre, etc. that were sitting in her inbox.

Can her mailbox be restored to an earlier snapshot. Any time before 9th March at 17:00 should work.

How do I get to talk to anyone with Plusnet about this? Talking to anyone in Support seems an impossible task.

If you are talking to Support you are talking to Plusnet. Unfortunately, as mail is now a 'legacy' service, front-line support have little or no knowledge about it. Hopefully, one of the Community Team will pick this up for you and see what they can do.

Hey @mxsytfc,

I've reviewed the account and I can see emails dating back a couple of years. If your daughter was using an email client with custom folders, please check if you have subscribed to those folders in webmail, as they are not subscribed by default.

Also, if an email is accidentally deleted it is not possible for us to revert to a previous snapshot as the email will be deleted from our systems.
