Hi,

No idea whats going on
Samsung S24 trying to use Gmail as email client

Have followed all instructions and settings from plusnet,

One email account works fine the second one will not sync the inbox, can send just cannot receive, have checked and treble checked the setting from working email is the same as the one not syncing both Plusnet email accounts
Bit baffled here

Just after posting had a light bulb moment................basically the email account was too big, so downloaded all as a POP3 account removing all from server and hey presto it is now syncing.................so assuming it was too large and or ran out of sync time or both

Nope - probably the wrong assessment. What’s more likely is that the IMAP configuration needs the IMAP root folder needs setting to inbox

Some mailboxes need that setting … others do not. Never worked out why, but I suspect it is linked to first use being via webmail.
