Slow email sync

Hi All,

Is anyone else having issues with emails at the moment?

Starting a few days ago my email account seems to be very slow to sync, this is both when using my pc connect (outlook) via ethernet, 2 different mobile phones using both wifi and 2 different mobile networks (via k9mail app) and even the plusnet webmail site,

I'm currently on the full fibre (80mb package if it helps).

Hi Alex, mind if I ask which mailbox you're having this issue with? That can happen if there's a lot of data stored in there.

It's the main email address on the account,

Cheers Alex, there isn't a great deal in that mailbox, mind if we try emptying it to see if that speeds things up? I'd archive anything important first that you need to keep hold of.

I will move most of it myself this evening.
I will transfer the older stuff to a local .pst and report back once done.

You could try accessing the mailbox using webmail and use that to compact the folders.

Not convinced it would make a difference, but worth a try.
