I use an primary email of username@madasafish.com this is working on my iPad using standard plusnet settings

I use the domain name, ‘Domainname’ (actual name not shown) for the email my wife uses. Her email address is herusername@Domainname.co.uk. She can receive emails but not send them, she gets a ‘outgoing username not found error’.

I have tried numerous variations of email setup (eg herusername@Domainname.plus.com) and ports 28,587 but have had no success.

can anyone help please?

Is “domain-name’ hosted on the MAAF account?

If yes, then the account names for the servers should be the MAAF account settings.

Though generally the email ADDRESS and the email ACCOUNT ID will usually be the same, they need not be.

The ADDRESS is the identity from which emails are sent and the ACCOUNT ID are the credentials used to access the mail service.

Note though that on a MAAF account twhen sending emails using a hosted domain name there is no means of mitigating Gmails draconian action of making the optional SPF or DKIM protocols mandatory for sending to free Gmail accounts.

In such scenarios the only pragmatic solutions are either do not correspond with gmail users or move the domain hosting elsewhere.

If the domain name forwards to the MAAF mailbox, there might be other options.
